Midlands: 2018 Green Futures Events

Green Futures 2018

The Green Futures events are now very much a firm fixture on the calendar and are usually fully booked, so reserve your place as soon as possible!

Once again CLA advisers are working with the Green Futures team to help farming businesses comply with cross compliance, environmental issues and legislation by organising seminars across the region. Members are invited to attend a seminar in your area looking at:

  • Cross compliance, including update and inspection issues
  • Basic Payment Scheme claims for greening and Ecological Focus Areas
  • Rural issues
  • Updates on Catchment Sensitive Farming funding and advice on soil management and water protection
  • 2018 Countryside Stewardship Schemes
  • New ‘Farming Rules for Water’, that will apply to all farmers in England from April
  • (Herefordshire only) The River Wye Nutrient Management Plan, and how farmers can get help through Farm Herefordshire.
