Thursday 28 September 2017: 10.30am – 3pm
Easton Walled Gardens, Easton, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG33 5AP
Easton Walled Gardens nestle in a beautiful, rolling valley and have been owned by the Cholmeley family for over 400 years. They are known as the ‘lost gardens of Lincolnshire’. Over the past 15 years the family has developed a turf maze, yew tunnel, shrubberies, meadows including an unusual rose garden, cutflower and vegetable gardens, a cottage garden, long borders, orchards and the White Space Garden.
We will meet at 10.30am in the Shoeing Box for an introduction and refreshments with Lady Ursula Cholmeley before being given an exclusive overview of the beautiful gardens on foot. Guests are then welcome to explore the gardens at leisure and there is a tearoom for those wishing to have lunch.
At 2.30pm we will reconvene for final questions and to enjoy an afternoon cream tea. Be sure to visit the gift and garden shop before heading home.
Price: £20 (inclusive of VAT).
