Arrive at Coverwood Farm in the Surrey Hills this summer and you may well find CLA member Tim Metson loading up a brightly painted life-sized artificial cow, destined for new pastures in the reception area of one of the county’s multinational businesses.

It’s a striking contrast to the herd of pedigree Herefords grazing in the surrounding fields, but these bovine works of art have a serious purpose - bridging the divide that exists between big business and the farming community.
