Farmers gather to highlight concerns over inheritance tax proposals
CLA Regional Director Cath Crowther was among those to speak to BBC Breakfast television about the devastating impact inheritance tax changes will have on rural businesses.
The media interest came ahead of a parliamentary debate later in the day about proposed changes to agricultural property relief and business property relief which were announced by the Government in the Autumn Budget last year.
BBC Breakfast interviewed a range of farmers and landowners and a number of other broadcast and print journalists also attended the media event at a farm near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
