After a two-year absence due to Covid-19 the CLA is delighted to be back at the Suffolk Show and will be offering members and their guests a wide selection of free hospitality during the two-day event.
Day 1 - Tuesday, 31 May
CLA Breakfast on day one **Last few places remaining**
Start off your visit to the show with a full English breakfast on the first day at 7.45am. CLA Deputy President Victoria Vyvyan will provide an update on CLA policy and lobbying matters at the breakfast. This event is sponsored by Birketts and Strutt and Parker.

From 11am - 12pm on day one we will be hosting The Prince’s Countryside Fund. Drop by to hear about their work and how you can get involved.
CLA Lunch on day one **Fully booked**
Also on day one, you are invited to a Celebration of Suffolk Food and Drink Lunch, sponsored by Carter Jonas and HSBC. This informal lunch, which is always extremely popular, will be served between noon and 2pm and will include delicious fresh local produce.

CLA Drinks Reception **Places available**
At 3pm on day one, all CLA members, their families and friends, are invited to a drinks reception, supported by Larking Gowen. The occasion will be an opportunity to mark the launch of the CLA Women’s Network in Suffolk.

Day 2 - Wednesday, 1 June
CLA Breakfast on day two **Places available**
On the second day of the Suffolk Show, CLA members can enjoy a full English breakfast at 7.45am. You will be joined by guest speaker Johann Tasker who is Transition and Podcast Editor at Farmers Weekly. This breakfast will be sponsored by Ensors and Folk to Folk.

CLA Lunch on day two **Last few places remaining**
A CLA lunch will take place on day two of the Suffolk Show offering a mouth-watering menu of locally sourced food and drink. The lunch will be served from noon until 2pm.

CLA Cream Tea **Places available**
To round off the show, you and your guests can enjoy a free Jubilee Cream Tea from 3pm. This will be a perfect opportunity to relax with friends and colleagues and enjoy the atmosphere of this bustling show.

You can enjoy complimentary light refreshments at any time in our marquee during the show and our team of advisers will be available to answer any questions you may have on farming, landownership and rural business.
National CLA Property and Business Policy Adviser, Avril Roberts, will be attending the Suffolk Show on the first day. Members can speak to Avril on a range of subjects including Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and non-domestic Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).
Cameron Hughes, CLA Land Use Policy Adviser, will also be at the show. Speak to Cameron about agricultural policy, including BPS, livestock and arable farming, farming systems and standards and resource protection.
