Blazing sunshine at Burwarton Show
Breakfasts, MPs and much more
Along with an estimated 20,000 people, members of the Midlands team had a wonderful day in the sunshine attending the county’s biggest agricultural event, Burwarton Show.
Kindly hosted by Aaron & Partners and located near the main arena, the day started with members enjoying delicious breakfast sandwiches whilst hearing from the Conservative MP for South Shropshire, Stuart Anderson.
Stuart discussed the dedication he has for his rural constituency, and how he has enjoyed being out and about meeting people who live and work in the area. He also took questions from the audience allowing members to speak about the challenges and opportunities they’re facing.
I always enjoy meeting with the CLA and I was delighted to be asked to speak to their members at Burwarton Show. I find that members are engaging and it was great to hear about important and topical issues that they are facing.
The team them spent the day meeting members and non-members and helping with any queries or advice they may have or need.
Highlighting the best of country life in Shropshire, Burwarton Show hosted around 700 sheep, 70 pigs and 300 horses in various livestock classes.
