Country Land and Business Association (CLA) drinks reception at the Royal Cheshire Show
The CLA attended the Royal Cheshire Show to host a drinks reception alongside Fisher German and DTM LegalThe CLA Midlands team attended the first day of the Royal Cheshire Show, hosting a drinks reception which was kindly sponsored by CLA Business and Professional members, Fisher German and DTM Legal.
Midlands Communications Manager, Natalie Oakes said “It was lovely to visit the Royal Cheshire Show, a first for me, and a first for the Midlands team in several years.
“It was particularly enjoyable to talk about the political engagement we have been doing across the region and in the county with members, and for Conservative Candidate for Chester South and Eddisbury, Aphra Brandreth to join us on the stand for the drinks reception.
“County shows really are at the heart of rural communities, bringing people together and show-casing the best of the industry.”
Attending the show for the first time in several years, the Midlands team welcomed members and non-members who had the opportunity to meet up with friends, family and colleagues and to pose any questions they have about a variety of subjects to the team.
It was great to see a number of long standing, new members and non-members at the Royal Cheshire show. We were able to discuss both challenges and opportunities including planning which is always a key priority for many CLA members, as well as plans for the Hynet project which will potentially be impacting some individuals in Cheshire and also HS2.
We have our upcoming visit to Capesthorne Hall and Cheshire AGM taking place on Thursday 4th July, to book your place please click here or call the office on 01785337010.
