MP visit to Plowden Estates

A group of CLA members and guests had the opportunity to attend a meeting at the beautiful Plowden Estate in South Shropshire, to discuss a variety of rural challenges and opportunities with Conservative MP for the Ludlow Constituency, the Rt Hon Philip Dunne MP and Stuart Anderson, Conservative MP for Wolverhampton South West.

The meeting, organised by the CLA Midlands team, had a full agenda covering a variety of topics from rural connectivity, planning through to agricultural transition.

A delicious lunch was followed by a discussion about current hot topics and policy. Members enjoyed wonderful views across to the Long Mynd, as they walked around the estate discussing farming and landscape issues.
