New CLA Vice President

Welcome to Midlands-based Joe Evans as Vice President of the CLA
Joe Evans Headshot

Following the end of Mark Tufnell’s tenure, at CLA Council on the 9th November, we welcomed Victoria Vyvyan to her role as the 56th President of the CLA.

Gavin Lane is appointed CLA Deputy President and we welcome one of our own, Joe Evans from the Whitbourne Estate in Herefordshire, as Vice President.

I am thrilled and honoured to have been elected to the post of Vice President and am looking forward to supporting Victoria in the coming years. The work of the CLA has never been more urgent or timely, and I am delighted to be on the team helping to promote the interests and priorities for our members around the country. I have taken on the baton from Victoria to be the officer representative in Wales, just over the border from my home patch in Herefordshire. I look forward to working with the team there on topics of the Sustainable Farming Scheme, National Parks, Aim 2 Sustain and much more.

Joe Evans, Vice President of the CLA

It is fantastic to have Joe as CLA Vice President. He has been a great advocate for the CLA and a huge support in the Midlands as Chair and then President on Herefordshire Committee, hosting events and being an elected member of Policy Committee
