Non-statutory consultation on a proposed new substation and overhead line

Members may be aware of Green GEN Vyrnwy Frankton, a proposal for a renewable energy network from Mid-Wales to near Lower Frankton in Shropshire.

An overhead line is proposed to run through the Vyrnwy Valley and connect to the existing electricity network near Oswestry.

A non-statutory consultation is now open and running until 18th October.
