Building on the success of our drinks receptions from the previous couple of years, we are excited to announce that the first one of 2025 is locked in and is available to book now on our website.

Generously sponsored by Brabners and by kind permission of Harriet and Rupert Harvey, CLA members are invited into the doors of the Grade 1 listed William and Mary house, Halston Hall on Wednesday 7th May.

Situated in secluded parkland and overlooking two lakes, guests will be able to enjoy drinks and canapés whilst taking in their surroundings, both inside and outside the house.

With stunning views of distant hills, it’s an ideal base for exploring North Wales and Shropshire’s ‘Lake District’ near Ellesmere.

Halston Hall is home to one of only two 15th-century timber-framed churches in Shropshire.

The Llangollen canal, praised as Britain’s most beautiful inland waterway, is just a short walk away.
