Supporting our Herefordshire members
Members of the team attended the Herefordshire Rural Hub Advice DayOn the 12th November, the Midlands branch of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) attended the Herefordshire Rural Hub Advice Day, along with a range of other rural businesses and support networks
The team had a busy time hosting a stand, engaging with current CLA members who they were able to help with a wide range of queries, and creating connections with newcomers, diving into the full range of services and advice on offer. Conversations varied from the inevitable concerns surrounding the recent Autumn Budget announcements, to the latest updates on the Environmental Land Management (ELM) Schemes.
Providing a range of support and resources, Herefordshire Rural Hub works with farming and rural businesses across Herefordshire to secure economic, social and environmental resilience.
Their aim is to help businesses to stay informed of regulatory requirements and comply with them, address challenges they may be facing, make informed decisions about schemes and funding, engage in peer-to-peer knowledge, promote ongoing skill development and facilitate opportunities for diversification and collaboration.
The annual advice day is always well attended by farmers and land managers from across the county, and is a great way for the CLA to catch up with existing and new members.
If you couldn't make the event and have any advice needs, please contact the team on 01785 337 010 or visit the website for further information.
