CLA Residential Lettings seminar at Scotch Corner

The CLA North team invites farmers, landowners and rural businesses to attend a Residential Lettings Seminar on 14 March at Scotch Corner Hotel, from 9am till 1pm.

This seminar will provide attendees with all the latest information and the changes in Residential Tenancy legislation, and how that will affect those involved in the private rental sector.

The event will cover the removal of section 21 notices, the new grounds to recover possession, the latest on Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and some context as to how others are adapting to the legislation.

Expert speakers at this event will include Harry Flanagan, CLA Senior Legal Adviser and Avril Roberts, CLA Housing Adviser, who will be joined by Duncan Peake, CEO at Raby Estates to showcase their approach to tenants.

CLA Director North Lucinda Douglas said: “We are very much looking forward to this event where we will discuss a range of legal and practical matters related to the private rental sector. We will be looking at the current state of play, as well as what the future might hold for this sector. There will be ample opportunity for those attending to interact with the speakers.”
