CLA members in the North of Tyne area may be interested in Rural Business Growth Support from North of Tyne Combined Authority and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

This support is available as two separate packages. The first is available to any business looking for business growth advice from Advance Northumberland.  The second is a grant programme, offering grants of between £20,000 and £200,000 with a 40% intervention rate. 

The grants are underpinned by the European Rural Development Programme which excludes retail, primary agriculture and tourism.  However it can support food and drink production, specifically where production is for the wholesale or business to business market.
