The CLA summer show season 2024
All the information you need for the CLA events at the agricultural shows
The summer agricultural show season will soon be upon us and you will find the CLA East team out and about across the region.
On May 19, the CLA starts the show season at the Essex Young Farmers Show. We will be in the Gepp Solicitors marquee and members are encouraged to join us for a free lunch and drinks at the show.
We move on to the Suffolk Show on May 29 and 30. You can enjoy breakfast and lunch with us on both days of the show and we will be hosting other social events across the two days too. CLA Deputy President Gavin Lane will be your guest speaker at breakfast on day one, while on day two we will be joined by Scott Russell who is an entrepreneur, business coach and founder of Paddy and Scott’s coffee.
Cereals is our next stop on June 11, which takes place at Newnham Farm in Hertfordshire this year. We will be hosting an informal breakfast briefing for members in the Savills stand. CLA President Victoria Vyvyan will be the guest speaker.
On June 19 and 20 we head to the Lincolnshire Show. Our marquee, ideally located next to the Main Ring, is the perfect spot for members to meet with friends, family and work colleagues over the two days. We will be hosting a breakfast on the first day, lunch on both days and other social occasions at the event.
The Royal Norfolk Show takes place on June 26 and 27 and the CLA will be there offering breakfast and lunch on both days for members. You will also find the CLA at Groundswell, the regenerative agricultural festival, on these dates and members are encouraged to come and meet with us there.
Please note that to attend the CLA events listed you will need to purchase an admission ticket for the show you wish to attend. You will find booking details of the CLA hospitality at the shows on the events page here. Some CLA hospitality will incur a small charge.
