Helen Shipsey

Helen works part-time in the Legal team, advising on the law on agricultural tenancies and occupation of rural land, including equine use. She also advises on existing agreements and obligations, on new agreements and on the growing body of regulation that applies to lettings of farmhouses within agricultural tenancies.

She covers also the Mobile Homes Act inquiries, metal detecting and the Treasure Act.
Represents the CLA on the Tenancy Reform Industry Group (TRIG) in its advisory role to DEFRA.

Helen qualified as a barrister in 1992 and worked at the Bar until 1998 when she joined the CLA legal team.
