Timely Payment

As part of the government’s 10-year strategy to build a trusted, modern tax administration system. HMRC issued a call for evidence on the timing of tax payments and the potential for these to be made more frequent (quarterly or monthly). The CLA has responded and cautioned against imposing more frequent payments of tax as this will be detrimental for rural businesses with the fluctuating, seasonal income.
