Boat rides, a museum visit and a house tour were among the highlights of the CLA's Hampshire branch AGM and autumn social this week.

The fully-booked event was held at the Beaulieu Estate in the New Forest, which has been in the ownership of the Montagu family for over four centuries.

Attendees were given a private guided tour of the House, followed by a drinks reception and a chance to take in the Monastic Life Exhibition, and lunch in the Domus.

The group also took a boat ride down the river, and visited the Maritime Museum, as well as hearing from Lord Montagu and CLA President Mark Tufnell.

The AGM was kindly supported by Thrings and Saffery Champness.
