The CLA is delighted to welcome a new adviser to the South East team.

Emily Brown joined the regional office this summer, and is due to start meeting members beginning with the Bucks County Show next week.

From a farming family on the Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire border, Emily joins the CLA having read Agriculture with Farm Business Management at Harper Adams. After graduating from the university in 2021, she has spent the last 12 months as its Student Union President campaigning on behalf of its students.

Emily, whose hobbies include playing guitar, sports and fitness, walking, and following women’s rugby, said: “I am really looking forward to my new role and getting stuck into all activities in the South East.”

Regional Director Tim Bamford said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Emily to the team.

“Her experience at Harper Adams, and the agricultural and wider rural sector, will be invaluable to both the CLA South East team and our membership.”
