Coverwood provided a stunning location for our Surrey AGM 2023.

Members enjoyed a fascinating tour of Coverwood Farm then a drinks reception and two-course dinner at the CLA Surrey Branch summer event and AGM 2023.

Coverwood is a family-owned diversified farm located in the heart of the Surrey Hills. It is home to a herd of pedigree Hereford Cattle producing premium pasture-fed meat, 14 acres of landscaped gardens and luxury holiday cottages.

Members had the opportunity to around the farm, butchery and picturesque gardens, hearing about the journey owner Tim Metson has gone on to create a successful butchery, supplying local businesses.

CLA Director General Sarah Hendry also gave attendees an update on the CLA's recent work and successes.
