The CLA is running a series of agricultural transition roadshow events across the South East next month, offering members invaluable advice and information.

What does the Labour government mean for farming? How can Environmental Land Management (ELM) schemes work for your business?

During these sessions you will hear from:

  • CLA experts who will discuss what the latest policy developments could mean for you
  • The Forestry Commission
  • Representatives from Defra including Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) and the Rural Payments Agency (RPA)
  • Local experts offering practical advice and case studies.

We will be at:

- Briar House Barns, Rotherfield, East Sussex, from 1pm to 4pm on Tuesday, 12 November

- Thame Barns, Thame, Oxfordshire, from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday, 13 November

- Chilbolton Village Hall, Chilbolton, Hampshire, from 2.30pm to 5pm on Wednesday, 13 November.

All three are supported by CSF, RPA, Defra and the Forestry Commission. The Sussex event is also supported by Batcheller Monkhouse, and the Hampshire and Oxfordshire sessions are also supported by Gasson Associates.

The events cost £12 including VAT. Refreshments will be provided.
