Nearly £30,000 funding awarded to south west organisations by CLA Charitable Trust
Grants will help those who are disabled or disadvantaged to visit and participate in learning experiences about the countryside.
Seven organisations across the south west have been awarded grants totalling nearly £30,000 from the CLA Charitable Trust (CLACT).
The trust is funded almost entirely by subscriptions and donations from members of the CLA, and has recently approved applications from:

- Apple Tree Farm Services in Devon received £5,000 to support operational aspects of the farm and barn kitchen.

- Neroche Woodlanders in Devon received £4,810 to deliver nature wellbeing sessions for adults with mental health needs.
- Bath City Farm received £5,000 to support its children and young people programme.
- Carymoor Environmental Trust in Somerset received £2,532 to deliver therapeutic outdoor activity days for disadvantaged families.

Since its foundation, the CLA Charitable Trust trust has given £2 million in grants and is dedicated to helping those who are disabled or disadvantaged to visit and participate in learning experiences about the countryside.
Each year, the CLA South West team donates a proportion of the ticket cost from its popular breakfast events at Devon County Show, Royal Bath & West Show and Royal Cornwall Showto the CLA Charitable Trust, and is delighted to see so many deserving organisations in the region receive funding for worthwhile projects.
