Elliot joins CLA South West as Rural Adviser

We are pleased to announce that Elliot Hutt has joined the CLA South West as Regional Adviser, filling the vacancy left by Will Langer who leaves at the end of June to join his family architecture firm in West Sussex. Whilst we’re sad to say goodbye to Will, we’re excited to welcome Elliot to the team. Elliot started on 14 June and will have a brief handover period with Will, he has joined us as we carry out our summer branch Committee round and in time for the Devon County Show.

Elliot has joined us fresh out of the Royal Agricultural University at Cirencester where he studied BSc (Hons) Rural Land Management. He is from a rural upbringing in Oxfordshire and in his spare time enjoys playing cricket and shooting both game and clays.

Director South West, Ann Maidment said: “Having recently graduated from Royal Agricultural University studying Rural Land Management, and subsequently starting his own contracting company, Elliot will bring a fresh approach and a desire to further his career in the rural sector. Elliot joins us at what is both an exciting and challenging time for the rural economy, as we start to see the changes brought about by Brexit, as well as the reopening of businesses as we continue the roadmap out of lockdown.

“I’m sure you’ll join us in welcoming Elliot to the team and we hope you’ll get to meet soon.”
