Proposed Alternative Measures for The Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2021

Following the promulgation of the Welsh Government's Agricultural Pollution Regulations last year, a sub-group was formed to propose a set of alternative measures which have now been put to the Minister for Rural Affairs.

This submission recommends alternative measures and some modifications to existing measures to The Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2021. It was produced by six organisations that are members of the Wales Land Management Forum (WLMF) Sub Group on Agricultural Pollution. The Group was supportive of the need for these regulations in order to prevent agricultural pollution in Wales and most of the existing measures.
